Gospel of November 13 2018

Letter of Saint Paul the Apostle to Titus 2,1-8.11-14.
Dearest, teach what is according to sound doctrine:
the old are sober, dignified, sensible, steadfast in faith, love and patience.
Equally older women behave in a manner worthy of believers; they are not slanders or slaves of much wine; rather know how to teach the good,
to train young women to love their husband and children,
to be prudent, chaste, devoted to the family, good, submissive to their husbands, so that the word of God should not become the object of reproach.
Encourage even the younger ones to be sensible,
offering yourself as an example in all of good conduct, with purity of doctrine, dignity,
healthy and irreproachable language, because our opponent remains confused, having nothing bad to say about us.
In fact, the grace of God appeared, bringing salvation for all men,
who teaches us to deny impiety and worldly desires and to live with sobriety, justice and pity in this world,
waiting for the blessed hope and the manifestation of the glory of our great God and savior Jesus Christ;
who gave himself up for us, to redeem us from all iniquity and to form a pure people who belong to him, zealous in good works.

Psalms 37 (36), 3-4.18.23.27.29.
Trust in the Lord and do good;
live the earth and live with faith.
Seek the joy of the Lord,
will fulfill the wishes of your heart.

The life of the good knows the Lord,
their legacy will last forever.
The Lord makes man's steps safe
and lovingly follows his path.

Stay away from evil and do good,
and you will always have a home.
The righteous will possess the earth
and they will live in it forever.

From the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Luke 17,7-10.
At that time, Jesus said: «Who among you, if he has a servant to plow or graze the flock, will tell him when he comes back from the field: Come immediately and sit at the table?
He will not say to him rather: Prepare me to eat, tuck in your garment and serve me, until I have eaten and drunk, and will you eat and drink too?
Will he feel obligated to his servant because he has carried out the orders received?
So you too, when you have done all that you have been told, say: We are useless servants. We did what we had to do. "
