Gospel of February 14 2019

Acts of the Apostles 13,46-49.
In those days, Paul and Barnabas frankly declared: “It was necessary that the word of God was proclaimed to you first, but since you reject it and do not judge yourselves worthy of eternal life, here we turn to the pagans.
So in fact the Lord ordered us: I have placed you as a light for the people, because you bring salvation to the ends of the earth. "
Upon hearing this, the pagans rejoiced and glorified the word of God and embraced the faith all those who were destined for eternal life.
The word of God spread throughout the region.

Psalms 117 (116), 1.2.
Praise the Lord, all peoples,
all of you nations give him glory.

Forte is his love for us
and the faithfulness of the Lord lasts forever.

From the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Luke 10,1-9.
At that time, the Lord appointed seventy-two other disciples and sent them two by two ahead of him to every city and place where he was going to go.
He said to them: "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore pray to the master of the harvest to send out workers for his harvest.
Go: behold, I send you out as lambs among wolves;
don't carry a bag, a saddlebag, or sandals and don't say goodbye to anyone along the way.
Whichever house you enter, first say: Peace be to this house.
If there is a child of peace, your peace will come upon him, otherwise he will return to you.
Stay in that house, eating and drinking what they have, because the worker is worthy of his reward. Don't go from house to house.
When you enter a city and they will welcome you, eat what will be put before you,
heal the sick who are there, and say to them: The kingdom of God has come to you ».
