Gospel of January 15, 2019

Letter to the Hebrews 2,5-12.
Brothers, certainly not to angels he has subjected the future world, of which we speak.
Indeed, someone in one step testified: “What is man because you remember him or the son of man because you care for him?
You have just made him inferior to angels, crowned him with glory and honor
and you have placed everything under his feet ". Having subjected everything to him, nothing left that was not subject to him. However, at present we still do not see that everything is subject to him.
But that Jesus, who was made slightly less than the angels, we now see him crowned with glory and honor because of the death he suffered, so that by the grace of God he would experience death for the benefit of all.
And it was quite right that he, for whom and of whom all things are, wanting to bring many children to glory, would make the leader who guided them to salvation perfect through suffering.
In fact, he who sanctifies and those who are sanctified all come from the same origin; for this reason he is not ashamed to call them brothers.
saying: "I will announce your name to my brothers, in the middle of the assembly I will sing your praises".

Psalms 8,2a.5.6-7.8-9.
O Lord, our God,
how big is your name on all the earth:
What is man because you remember it
and the son of man why do you care?

Yet you did it little less than the angels,
you crowned him with glory and honor:
you gave him power over the works of your hands,
you have everything under his feet.

You subjected the herds and herds to him,
all the beasts of the countryside;
the birds of the sky and the fish of the sea,
who travel the sea routes.

From the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Mark 1,21b-28.
At that time, in the city of Capernaum Jesus, who entered the synagogue on Saturday, began to teach.
And they were amazed at his teaching, because he taught them as one who has authority and not like the scribes.
Then a man who was in the synagogue, possessed by an unclean spirit, shouted:
«What does it have to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? You came to ruin us! I know who you are: the saint of God ».
And Jesus rebuked him: «Be silent! Get out of that man. '
And the unclean spirit, tearing him and crying out loud, came out of him.
Everyone was seized with fear, so much so that they asked each other: "What is this? A new doctrine taught with authority. He commands even unclean spirits and they obey him! ».
His fame spread immediately everywhere around Galilee.
