Gospel of 5 March 2019

Book of the Ecclesiastical 35,1-15.
Those who observe the law multiply the offers; those who fulfill the commandments offer a sacrifice of communion.
Those who keep gratitude offer flour, those who practice alms make sacrifices of praise.
What pleases the Lord is to refrain from wickedness, atoning sacrifice is to refrain from injustice.
Do not present yourselves empty-handed before the Lord, all this is required by the commandments.
The offering of the just enriches the altar, its perfume rises in front of the Most High.
The sacrifice of the righteous man is welcome, his memorial will not be forgotten.
Glorify the Lord with a generous heart, do not be stingy in the first fruits you offer.
In each offer, show your face gladly, consecrate the tithe with joy.
He gives to the Most High on the basis of the gift he received, gives good cheer according to your possibility,
because the Lord is one who repays, and seven times he will give you back.
Don't try to bribe him with gifts, he won't accept, don't trust an unjust victim,
because the Lord is a judge and there is no preference of persons with him.
He is not partial to anyone against the poor, on the contrary he listens to the prayer of the oppressed.
He does not neglect the supplication of the orphan nor the widow, when she vents in the lament.
Do not the widow's tears fall on her cheeks and her cry does not rise against those who make them shed?

Salmi 50(49),5-6.7-8.14.23.
The Lord says:
“Before me gather my faithful ones,
who sanctioned the alliance with me
offering a sacrifice. "
Heaven proclaim his justice,

God is the judge.
"Listen, my people, I want to speak,
I will testify against you, Israel:
I am God, your God.
I don't blame you for your sacrifices;

your burnt offerings are always before me.
Offer a sacrifice of praise to God
and dissolve your vows to the Most High;
"Whoever offers the sacrifice of praise, he honors me,
to those who walk the right way

I will show the salvation of God. "

From the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Mark 10,28-31.
At that time, Peter said to Jesus, "Behold, we have left everything and followed you."
Jesus answered him, "Truly I say to you, there is no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields because of me and because of the gospel,
that he does not already receive a hundred times as much at present in houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and fields, together with persecutions, and in the future eternal life.
And many of the first will be last and the last will be the first ».
