Gospel of 7 October 2018

Book of Genesis 2,18-24.
The Lord God said: "It is not good for man to be alone: I want to help him like him."
Then the Lord God molded all sorts of wild beasts and all the birds of the sky from the ground and led them to man, to see how he would call them: however man had called each of the living beings, that was to be his first name.
So the man imposed names on all the cattle, on all the birds of the sky and on all the wild beasts, but the man did not find a help that was similar to him.
Then the Lord God made a numbness fall upon the man, who fell asleep; he took one of his ribs and locked the meat in its place.
The Lord God molded with the rib, which he had taken from the man, a woman and led her to the man.
Then the man said, “This time it is flesh from my flesh and bone from my bones. because it was taken from man ”.
This is why the man will abandon his father and mother and join his wife and the two will be one flesh.

Salmi 128(127),1-2.3.4-5.6.
Blessed is the man who fears the Lord
and walk in its ways.
You will live by the work of your hands,
you will be happy and enjoy every good.

Your bride as a fruitful vine
in the intimacy of your home;
your children like olive shoots
around your canteen.

Thus will the man who fears the Lord be blessed.
Bless you the Lord from Zion!

May you see the prosperity of Jerusalem
for all the days of your life.
May you see your children's children.
Peace over Israel!

From the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Mark 10,2-16.
At that time, approaching the Pharisees, to test him, they asked him: "Is it lawful for a husband to repudiate his wife?".
But he said to them, "What did Moses command you?"
They said: "Moses allowed to write an act of repudiation and to postpone it."
Jesus said to them, "For the hardness of your heart he wrote this rule for you.
But at the beginning of creation God created them male and female;
therefore man will leave his father and mother and the two will be one flesh.
So they are no longer two, but one flesh.
Therefore let man not separate what God has joined ».
Back home, the disciples questioned him again on this subject. And he said:
«Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her;
if the woman divorces her husband and marries another, she commits adultery. "
They were introduced to children to pet them, but the disciples scolded them.
When Jesus saw this, he was indignant and said to them: «Let the children come to me and do not prevent them, because the kingdom of God belongs to whoever is like them.
Truly I say to you, whoever does not welcome the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it. "
And taking them in his arms and placing his hands on them he blessed them.
