Today's Gospel October 10, 2020 with the words of Pope Francis

READING OF THE DAY
From the letter of Saint Paul the Apostle to the Galati
Gal 3,22: 29-XNUMX

Brothers, Scripture has enclosed everything under sin, so that the promise would be given to believers through faith in Jesus Christ.
But before faith came, we were kept and locked up under the Law, waiting for the faith that was to be revealed. Thus the Law was a pedagogue for us, up to Christ, so that we were justified by faith. After faith, we are no longer under a pedagogue.

For all of you are children of God by faith in Christ Jesus, for as many as you have been baptized into Christ you have clothed yourself with Christ. There is no Jew or Greek; there is neither slave nor free; there is no male and female, because you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are descendants of Abraham, heirs according to the promise.

GOSPEL OF THE DAY
From the Gospel according to Luke
Lc 11,27-28

At that time, while Jesus was speaking, a woman from the crowd raised her voice and said to him: "Blessed is the womb that bore you and the breast that nursed you!"

But he said: "Blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!"

WORDS OF THE HOLY FATHER
What a grace it is when a Christian truly becomes a "christ-forum", that is, "bearer of Jesus" in the world! Especially for those who are going through situations of mourning, despair, darkness and hatred. And this can be understood from many small details: from the light that a Christian keeps in his eyes, from the background of serenity that is not affected even in the most complicated days, from the desire to start loving again even when many disappointments have been experienced. In the future, when the history of our days is written, what will be said about us? Have we been capable of hope, or have we put our light under a bushel? If we are faithful to our Baptism, we will spread the light of hope, Baptism is the beginning of hope, that hope of God and we will be able to transmit reasons for life to future generations.
