Holy Gospel, prayer of January 22st

Today's Gospel
From the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Mark 3,22-30.
At that time, the scribes, who had come down from Jerusalem, said: "He is possessed by Beelzebub and cast out demons by means of the prince of demons."
But he called them and said to them in parables: "How can Satan drive out Satan?"
If a kingdom is divided in itself, that kingdom cannot stand;
if a house is divided in itself, that house cannot stand.
In the same way, if Satan rebels against himself and is divided, he cannot resist, but he is about to end.
Nobody can enter the house of a strong man and kidnap his belongings unless he has first tied the strong man; then he will pillage the house.
Truly I say to you: all sins will be forgiven the children of men and also all the blasphemies they will say;
but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never have forgiveness: he will be guilty of eternal guilt ».
For they said, "He is possessed by an unclean spirit."

Saint of today - BLESSED LAURA VICUNA
We turn to you, Laura Vicuna, whom the Church offers us
as a model of adolescent, courageous witness of Christ.
You who have been docile to the Holy Spirit and fed on the Eucharist,
grant us the grace that we ask you with confidence ...
Get us consistent faith, courageous purity, faithfulness to daily duty,
strength in overcoming the pitfalls of selfishness and evil.
Let our life, like yours, be totally open to the presence of God,
trust in Mary and strong and generous love for others. Amen.
