Gospel, Saint, prayer of December 6th

Today's Gospel
From the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Matthew 15,29-37.
At that time, Jesus came to the sea of Galilee and went up to the mountain and stopped there.
A great crowd gathered around him bringing with them lame, crippled, blind, deaf and many other sick people; they laid them at his feet, and he healed them.
And the crowd was full of amazement at seeing the mute who spoke, the crippled straightened, the lame who walked and the blind who saw. And glorified the God of Israel.
Then Jesus called the disciples to himself and said: «I feel compassion for this crowd: for three days now they have been following me and have no food. I don't want to postpone them fasting, so that they won't pass out along the way ».
And the disciples said to him, "Where can we find so many loaves in a desert as to feed such a large crowd?"
But Jesus asked: "How many loaves do you have?" They said, "Seven, and a few little fish."
After ordering the crowd to sit on the ground,
Jesus took the seven loaves and the fishes, gave thanks, broke them, gave them to the disciples, and the disciples distributed them to the crowd.
Everyone ate and was satisfied. Pieces left over took seven full bags.
