Today's Gospel
From the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Mark 1,7-11.
At that time, John preached saying: «After me comes one who is stronger than me and to whom I am not worthy to bend down to untie the ties of his sandals.
I baptized you with water, but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit ».
In those days Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee and was baptized in the Jordan by John.
And, coming out of the water, he saw the heavens open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove.
And a voice was heard from heaven: "You are my beloved Son, in you I am pleased".
