Gospel, Saint, prayer of June 1st

Today's Gospel
From the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Mark 11,11-26.
After being acclaimed by the crowd, Jesus entered Jerusalem in the temple. And after looking at everything around, being now late, he went out with the Twelve to Betània.
The following morning, as they left Betània, he was hungry.
And having seen from afar a fig tree that had leaves, he went to see if he ever found anything there; but when you got there, he found nothing but leaves. In fact, that was not the season of figs.
And he said to him, "No one can ever eat your fruit again." And the disciples heard it.
Meanwhile, they went to Jerusalem. And having entered the temple, he began to drive out those who sold and bought in the temple; overturned the tables of the money changers and the chairs of the dove sellers
and did not allow things to be carried through the temple.
And he taught them saying: «Is it not written: Will my house be called a house of prayer for all peoples? But you have made it a den of thieves! ».
The chief priests and scribes heard it and were looking for ways to make him die. They were in fact afraid of him, because all the people were admired of his teaching.
When evening came they left the city.
The following morning, passing, they saw the dried fig from the roots.
Then Peter remembered and said to him, "Master, look: the fig tree you cursed has dried up."
Then Jesus said to them, "Have faith in God!
Truly I say to you, whoever said to this mountain: Get up and be thrown into the sea, without doubting in his heart but believing that what he says will happen, it will be granted to him.
This is why I say to you: whatever you ask in prayer, have faith that you have obtained it and it will be granted to you.
When you pray, if you have something against someone, forgive, because even your Father who is in heaven forgive you your sins ».

Saint of today - SANT'ANNIBALE MARIA DI FRANCIA
Lord God, you raised up in our time
Saint Hannibal Maria as a distinguished one
witness of the evangelical beatitudes.
He, enlightened by grace, had the right detachment from his youth
from wealth, and he freed himself of everything to give himself to the poor.
For his intercession, help us make good use of the things we do
we have and always have a thought for those who
they have less than us.
In the present difficulties, grant us the graces we ask of you
for us and our loved ones.
Amen.
Glory to the Father ...
