Gospel, Saint, prayer of May 11st

Today's Gospel
From the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to John 16,20-23a.
At that time, Jesus said to his disciples: «Verily, verily, I say to you, you will weep and be sad, but the world will rejoice. You will be afflicted, but your affliction will change into joy. "
The woman, when she gives birth, is afflicted, because her hour has come; but when he gave birth to the child, he no longer remembers the affliction for joy that a man came into the world.
So you too are now in sadness; but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice and
no one will be able to take away your joy from you ».
