From the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Luke 13,18-21.
At that time, Jesus said: "What is the kingdom of God like, and to what will I resemble it?
It is similar to a mustard seed, which a man has taken and thrown into the garden; then it grew and became a shrub, and the birds of the sky settled among its branches ».
And again: «To what will I resemble the kingdom of God?
It is similar to the yeast that a woman has taken and hidden in three bushels of flour, until it is completely fermented ».
