Saint Anthony heals a three-month-old girl from a serious illness

Verona: St. Anthony heals a little girl: Father Enzo Poiana told his story during the Sunday mass in which little Kairyn was also baptized. A very healthy three and a half month old girl, originally from the Veronese area.

Miracle because, before being born, the conditions of Kairyn's health they gave young parents something to worry about. Already at the first specialist visit, a large dark spot on the face of the fetus emerged that disfigured her face. The doctor said a lipoma or even worse a liposarcoma that could have compromised the survival of the newborn. A second visit specialist only confirmed the omen of doom, indeed it got worse because an extensive brain infection was added. And while in Verona there was a succession of specialist visits amidst concern, in Padua there was someone praying to Saint Anthony: the little girl's grandmother, very devoted to the Saint.

The family decided to turn to a luminary of Bologna, to whom he asked for an appointment, fixed for the end of August. Too late to do anything for Kairyn. But when all seemed lost, the first features of what we now call a miracle take shape. A phone call from Bologna arrives at the home of the child's parents: the visit is anticipated to 13nd June, St. Anthony's day, at 18 pm, time of the traditional procession. The grandmother intensifies the prayers and visits to the Saint, the mother does the same and also receives some blessings, until the day of the medical examination and the miracle arrives. The luminary visits Kairyn and as if by magic everything seems to have disappeared. The stain e the infection disappeared.

Prayer to St. Anthony for any need

Verona, St. Anthony heals a little girl: prayer

Unworthy for the sins committed to appear before God
I come to your feet, most loving Saint Anthony,
to implore your intercession in the need in which I turn.
Be auspicious of your mighty patronage,
free me from all evil, especially from sin,
e ask for the grace of ...............
Dear Saint, I am also in the number of troubles

that God has committed to your care, and to your provident goodness.
I'm sure that I too, through you, will have what I ask for
and so I will see my pain calmed, my distress comforted,
wipe my tears, my poor heart has returned to calm.
Comforter of the troubled
do not deny me the comfort of your intercession with God.
So be it!
