Bible verses on positive thinking

In our Christian faith, we can talk a great deal about sad or depressing things like sin and pain. However, there are many Bible verses that speak of positive thinking or can serve to lift us up. Sometimes we just need that little impulse, especially when we are going through difficult times in our life. Each verse below is an abbreviation for which the translation of the Bible derives from the verse, such as New Living Translation (NLT), New International Version (NIV), New King James Version (NKJV), Contemporary English Version (CEV) or New American Standard Bible (NASB).
