American bishop restores life to a child who has been dead for an hour

Today we are talking about a pioneer of evangelization via radio and television, the American bishop Fulton Sheen, an eclectic and well-known character in the United States.

Fulton was a brilliant and witty preacher capable of keeping millions of people glued to the video during his catechesis. What distinguished him was his innateness sense of humor. She had a real talent, she was able to infuse a divine sense of humor to everything.

He was able to see beyond things, for him a mountain was not an end in itself, but represented the power of God, the sunset its beauty, he was capable of making sense of things.

But the miracle that led him to beatification it concerns the unexplained healing of the little one James Fulton Engsrom.

Fulton Sheen's Miracle

Bonnie, at the birth of the ninth son James, he saw a motionless, cyanotic little body lying in his arms. The little boy was not breathing and the doctors immediately took him away to try to revive him. But nothing, the baby still couldn't breathe, despite 2 doses of epinephrine and the administration of oxygen.

During resuscitation attempts, 60 very long minutes, Bonnie remembers saying Fulton Sheen's name almost obsessively. The doctors at that point stopped ready to declare his death. It all seemed over when suddenly his heart started beating again.

As if by a miracle, the boy woke up. The incredulous doctors were ready to ascertain and face the damage that that long period of lack of oxygen had certainly caused to the baby.

Bonnie was not willing to give up and began to gather a group of people to pray together that her baby could be saved. They also hoped that the child did not have serious problems.

Days went by and just after a week, the baby was able to go home with his mother completely healed.

The divine irony of Fulton Sheen, capable of transforming tears into bursting laughter of joy, had given life back to little James.
