"I'll explain why demons hate entering a Catholic Church"

Monsignor Stephen Rossetti, famous exorcist and author of the Diary of an Exorcist, explained what demons are afraid of in one Catholic church, especially when Mass is celebrated.

The priest said that "to know what is truly sacred, one can look at what the demons hate". And being in a parish is the safest place because "one of the greatest tortures for a demon is to enter a Catholic Church".

"First of all, when someone approaches a church, the bells are heard and the demons are repelled by them. In fact, some exorcists ring the blessed bells during an exorcism for this reason ”, explained the priest.

It's still: "Go through the doors of the Church causes great distress and anxiety to the demons. Many possessed people find this nearly impossible. The demons are desperately trying to stop him from entering ”.

Furthermore, as everyone knows, "bless with holy water it is a source of great torment for the demons. Holy water is part of every exorcism. It is one of the most effective sacramentals for expelling all kinds of demons ”.

Then, there is the fear of the crucifix. Monsignor Rometti recalled that in a Church there are more than one: "The standard part of all exorcisms is to raise the sign of the devil's defeat, Jesus crucified, and say: 'Ecce cruciform Domini: fugite parts adversae'. In a recent exorcism, a demon shouted at me: 'Take him away! It's burning me! '”.

Finally, “near the altar there is usually an image of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The demons can't even pronounce his name because he is so holy and gracious. They are terrified of it ”.
