Vicka of Medjugorje: I tell you the fast proposed by Our Lady

Janko: Now we have to talk about a topic we don't totally agree on.
Vicka: As if there were only one of subjects on which we don't get along! But let's see what it is.
Janko: Let's say right away that it is fasting as recommended here in Medjugorje and on which many disagree.
Vicka: Why do you think this?
Janko: There are some who say that Our Lady has not ordered such a fasting fast as you recommend it.
Vicka: It's true. He didn't order it, he just recommended it. So I too have heard it reported many times from the altar.
Janko: Okay. But what would you answer to those who asked you for clarifications in this regard?
Vicka: I would say that Our Lady wants fasting in this way, but then everyone does as he sees fit.
Janko: Would you say then that Our Lady "invented" this form of fasting?
Vicka: Women said to me that he fasted like this even before the apparitions of Our Lady. Why not do it now too?
Janko: It's true, he has fasted here too. This type of fast was called "complete fast", or "bread and water". My late mother fasted at least twenty times during the whole Advent season. Except that at noon, instead of the glass of water, he took a glass of black wine.
Vicka: He certainly did it for you ...
Janko: Let's leave this alone, Vicka. You too keep your secrets.
Vicka: Okay; I joked. As was done then, so there are those who do it even now.
Janko: What will happen to those who don't?
Vicka: What will happen? Nobody will go to hell for this. I think so.
Janko: But what did Our Lady really say?
Vicka: He spoke of fasting later when he told us that we must pray and fast for the conversion of sinners. We asked her how to fast and she replied: "To bread and water." We have communicated this answer to the priest. also in this practice we proceeded as for the seven our Father. So we began to pray and fast; Our Lady encouraged us to continue in this way.
Janko: What did you recommend first: the seven Our Father, or this fast so severe?
Vicka: First the seven Our Father. I think, but I'm not entirely sure, that our Father and the Creed have already recommended them on the fifth or sixth day; fasting instead a little later.
Janko: Can't you really remember exactly when it was?
Vicka: I don't remember. Why should I say it if I'm not sure? I remember, however, that he also told us this fairly soon.
Janko: Are you sure that Our Lady really recommended this to you?
Vicka: Of course I'm sure! I remember it very well.
Janko: Okay. However, it may be that you exaggerate a bit in recommending this fast.
Vicka: This I don't know; it is not up to me.
Janko: I think you've gone too far on this.
Vicka: How do you think that?
Janko: You fasted more than you had to.
Vicka: This is my business.
Janko: It's true that it's your business; but not only yours. One must also concern one's health.
Vicka: Of course you have to look after it. And I have been attentive to my health.
Janko: Why are you so slim then?
Vicka: This is another thing; so let's put it aside.
Janko: Okay, Vicka. Do you have anything else to say about fasting?
Vicka: What am I supposed to say? Fasting is good; those who do not fast do not sin. Unless you neglect the fast prescribed by the Church.
Janko: Okay. Can you fast in other ways too?
Vicka: It is not for me to talk about this. The priests tell us about this. The important thing is that you fast, each according to your possibilities.
Janko: Good. Somehow we understood each other and thank you.
