Vicka of Medjugorje: I tell you what prayers Our Lady recommends

Father Slavko: How much do you need to do to start the conversion and live in harmony with the messages?

Vicka: It doesn't take a lot of effort. The main thing is to desire conversion. If you want it, it will come and no effort will have to be made. As long as we continue to struggle, to have internal struggles, this means that we are not determined to take this step; it is useless to struggle if you are not fully convinced that you want to ask God for the grace of conversion. Conversion is a grace and does not come by chance, if you do not want it. Conversion is our whole life. Who can say "I converted" today? Nobody. We must walk the path of conversion. Those who say they have converted mind have not even started. Those who say they want to convert are already on the road to conversion and pray for it every day.

Father Slavko: How is it possible to reconcile the rhythm and speed of today's life with the principles of the messages of the Virgin?

Vicka: Today we are in a hurry and we have to slow down the pace. If we continue to live with this speed, we will get nothing. You don't have to think, "I have to, I have to." If there is the will of God, everything will be done. We are the problem, we are the ones who impose the rhythm on ourselves. If we say "Plan!", The world will also change. All this depends on us, it is not an error of God, but ours. We wanted this speed and thought it was not possible to do otherwise. In this way we are not free and we are not because we don't want it. If you want to be free, you will find the way to be free.

Father Slavko: What prayers does the Queen of Peace particularly recommend?

Vicka: You particularly recommend that you pray the Rosary; this is the prayer that is dearest to her, which includes joyful, painful and glorious mysteries. All the prayers that are recited with the heart, says the Virgin, have the same value.

Father Slavko: From the beginning of the apparitions, the visionaries, for us normal believers, found themselves in a privileged position. You are aware of many secrets, you have seen Heaven, Hell and Purgatory. Vicka, how does it feel to live with the secrets revealed by the Mother of God?

Vicka: Up to now the Madonna has revealed to me nine secrets of the ten possible ones. It is absolutely not a burden for me, because when she revealed them to me, she also gave me the strength to bear them. I live as if I wasn't even aware of it.

Father Slavko: Do you know when he will reveal the tenth secret to you?

Vicka: I don't know.

Father Slavko: Do you think about secrets? Do you find it difficult to bring them? Do they oppress you?

Vicka: I certainly think about it, because the future is contained in these mysteries, but they do not oppress me.

Father Slavko: Do you know when these secrets will be revealed to men?

Vicka: No, I don't know.

Father Slavko: The Virgin described his life. Can you tell us something about it now? When will it be known?

Vicka: The Virgin has described my whole life, from birth to the Assumption. For the moment I can not say anything about it, because I am not allowed. The entire description of the life of the Virgin is contained in three booklets in which I described everything the Virgin told me. Sometimes I wrote a page, sometimes two and sometimes only half a page, depending on what I remembered.

Father Slavko: Every day you are constantly present in front of your birthplace in Podbrdo and pray and speak with love, with a smile on your lips, to the pilgrims. If you are not at home, visit countries around the world. Vicka, what interests pilgrims most during the meeting with the visionaries, and therefore also with you?

Vicka: Every winter morning I start working with people around nine and in the summer around eight, because that way I can talk to more people. People with disparate problems arrive and from various countries, and I try to help them as much as I can. I try to listen to everyone and say a good word to them. I try to find time for everyone, but sometimes it's really impossible, and I'm sorry, because I think I could have done more. However, in recent times I have noticed that people are asking fewer and fewer questions. For example, I once went to a conference with about a thousand participants and there were Americans, Poles, altogether five buses of Czechs and Slovaks and so on; but the interesting thing is that nobody asked me anything. It was enough for them that I prayed with them and said a couple of words to make them happy.
