Vicka of Medjugorje "Our Lady is always with us even in difficulties"

Janko: I will ask you something in particular and if you want you can answer me.
Vicka: Okay so.
Janko: We all know the sufferings and troubles you experienced at the beginning, both individually and in groups, about what happened to you. I ask you now: did you get confused, or did you get so confused as to have wished that nothing had happened?
Vicka: No, no. This never!
Janko: Really never?
Vicka: Never. Our Lady has always been close to me; I had it in my heart and I knew she would win. I absolutely did not think of the difficulties during the apparitions; in fact, I can't think of anything else.
Janko: Okay, during the apparitions. But after?
Vicka: Not even later. Sometimes it occurred to me that they could also have imprisoned me. But Our Lady gave me a firm faith that even there she would be with me. And who could do anything to me?
Janko: I heard from one of your companions that she had moments when she would have preferred not to have ever been involved in these facts. In truth, however, he immediately said to me: "When the moment of the meeting with the Madonna arrived, there was no force that could have stopped me from going to the meeting with her".
Vicka: Maybe. I only spoke for myself; I know who you're talking about anyway. What do you want, many heads and many opinions. You poor woman suffered so much; most of all.
Janko: So you say you weren't discouraged.
Vicka: No, every day we were firmer and more courageous.
Janko: Well, I have to believe you.
Vicka: Why not? If you have something to say, say it and don't be afraid.
Janko: I'm not afraid of anything. I'm glad it went like this. But, Vicka, I knew that you have had painful and difficult moments since the first meeting so far. Do you remember any of these moments?
Vicka: There have been many; it is not possible to list them. You can imagine it; after all I have already told you about this. One hour now the other was calling us. They mocked us, they threatened us. What do you want me to tell you? It was just terrible. If Our Lady had not encouraged us, I don't know what would have happened. Thanks to God and Our Lady we endured everything.
